Basic Prenatal is a daily multi-vitamin/mineral supplement designed to be gentle and effective for women trying to conceive or who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Basic Prenatal contains well-absorbed, tissue-ready vitamins and minerals that are gentle on the stomach and non-constipating. And it’s made without the additives and coatings found in mainstream prenatal supplements.
Prenatal DHA provides support for mom and baby during pregnancy and through nursing with two essential omega-3 fatty acids – DHA and EPA. These omega-3s support a healthy pregnancy and development of baby's brain and nervous system.* 
5-MTHF 1 mg is an active, tissue-ready form of folate. Folate is essential for healthy fetal brain and spinal cord development.*

Basic Prenatal ALLERGY WARNING This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Iodine may occasionally cause an allergic reaction in some individuals. PREGNANCY If pregnant, consult your health-care practitioner before using this product. INTERACTIONS As vitamin K interferes with the effect of anticoagulant drugs (like Coumadin), the concurrent use of these agents should be avoided. 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) supplementation is not recommended concurrent with methotrexate cancer therapy, as it can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity; however, this folate source has not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate. An individual taking methotrexate for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis can safely take a supplement containing folate. ADDITIONAL WARNINGS Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under six. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately. Vitamin C can cause diarrhea in some individuals in large doses, which can vary from person to person and resolves when the amount is reduced. Prenatal DHA ALLERGY WARNING This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. The omega-3 fatty acids in Prenatal DHA are derived from fish and/or shellfish. PREGNANCY If pregnant, consult your health-care practitioner before using this product. INTERACTIONS There are no known adverse interactions or contraindications at publication date. 5-MTHF 1 mg ALLERGY WARNING This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. We ship only to the contiguous United States: the 48 states and Washington, DC. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations are not currently eligible.
